Destiny Dairy Bar - Amy

AMY

Amy is the 3rd generation to milk cows at Stover Farms on Horners Road in Carlisle. She got her B.S. in Animal Science from Cornell University in 2004 and her M.S. in Dairy Nutrition from University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2006. She was able to study for a semester at Massey University in Palmerston North, New Zealand, and had always been very active in her local 4-H clubs as a kid. Amy is the Herd Manager, milks the herd, monitors herd health, activity and productivity and makes decisions with the focus on the health and comfort of each cow.

Amy has 2 boys, Graeson, 16, and Colter, 13, in the Cumberland Valley School District.

GRANDMA JULIA AND COLTER

Julia, the first generation on Stover Farms, continues to support the family by feeding calves each day, twice a day! She helps train all calf feeders, and uses her keen eye to watch all babies in the greenhouse! Colter is an 8th grader at Eagle View Middle School and works at the store when he isn't practicing the piano!

JULIE & DAVE

Husband and wife duo Julie and Dave started working for Stover Farms in March of 2014. Julie milks and cares for the herd while Dave can be found feeding, cleaning pens, moving animals, fixing and maintaining buildings and equipment. When not at Stover Farms, Julie and Dave take care of their own herd of elite show cattle with their two daughters and granddaughter in Dillsburg.

ANN

Ann is a member of the 2nd generation to milk cows at Stover Farms. Ann is a partner with her brother, Ron, and works as the office manager and continues to milk. Ann grew up in 4-H, and passed her love of cows, and eye for detail to her daughter Amy. Ann is well known for her generosity and her impeccable taste as she hosts events on the farm.

Graeson is a Junior at Cumberland Valley High School and is a member of the 4th generation to work at Stover Farms. He is Amy's son and has been a part of the Cumberland Valley 4-H Dairy Club in the past, serving as president and secretary. He finished his first year at Cumberland-Perry Vo-Tech in computer programming and is interning in computer repair this summer.

RAFAEL

Rafael milks, feeds, and helps keep the farm neat and clean.  He is originally from Oaxaca, Mexico!   Rafael is always excited to learn new things and cares deeply for the health of the cows and other animals!

MACKENZIE

Mackenzie is a sophomore at Trinity High School and works in the store and feeds calves!  Her sister, Ainsleigh also works at the store.

AINSLEIGH


Mackenzie's sister, Ainsleigh, is a wonderful addition to the sales team!  Her smile and enthusiasm is infectious!!
